The rattan panels are handwoven and securely fitted into the frame, making them sturdy for everyday use. However, no natural material is truly chew-proof. If your pet is a determined chewer, the solid wood frame is the more resilient part of the bed. Most pets leave the rattan alone — it's the cushion that attracts them.

The Loft Cane Pet Daybed was designed for the space that values restraint. The headboard and footboard are handwoven rattan — not printed, not embossed, actual woven cane that lets air move through and light pass across. The frame is solid wood with a warm matte finish, the kind of material that gains character over time rather than losing it.
There's no ruching, no bows, no decoration that exists only to be seen. The beauty here is structural: the geometry of the frame, the rhythm of the cane weave, the way the linen cushion sits quietly inside.
